PORSCHE 959

The Porsche 959 is a sports car produced by Porsche from 1986 to 1993. It was developed as a Group B rally car, but was also sold in a street-legal version. The 959 was the first car to feature all-wheel drive, a twin-turbocharged engine, and a semi-active suspension system. It was also one of the first cars to use carbon fiber in its construction.

The 959's 2.8-liter flat-six engine produced 450 horsepower and 369 lb-ft of torque. The engine was mated to a six-speed manual transmission and a four-wheel drive system. The 959 could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 3.7 seconds and had a top speed of 195 mph.

The 959's suspension system was designed to provide a comfortable ride on the street and a firm ride on the track. The system used electronically controlled shock absorbers that could be adjusted to suit different driving conditions.
