BMW F650 1993-2001 Motorcycle

The BMW F650 is a dual-sport motorcycle manufactured by BMW Motorrad from 1993 to 2001. It was the first BMW motorcycle to use a single-cylinder engine since the R 39 of 1925.

The F650 was initially powered by a 652 cc four-stroke engine, which was later increased to 659 cc in 1997. The engine is air-cooled and features a single overhead camshaft. It is mated to a five-speed gearbox and shaft final drive.

The F650 has a steel frame and a telescopic front fork with 170 mm of travel. The rear suspension is a monoshock with 165 mm of travel. The front brakes are dual 260 mm discs, while the rear brake is a single 240 mm disc.

The F650 was available in two versions: the Funduro and the GS. The Funduro was the more street-oriented version, with a lower seat height and a more comfortable suspension. The GS was the more off-road-oriented version, with a higher seat height, longer suspension travel, and a more aggressive tire tread.

The F650 was a popular motorcycle, with over 60,000 units sold worldwide. It was praised for its versatility, reliability, and relatively low price. It was also the first BMW motorcycle to be produced in Thailand.
