Engine
The Suzuki RF900R is powered by a 900cc, four-cylinder, air/oil-cooled engine. The engine is longitudinally mounted in the frame and is canted forward at a 45-degree angle. The engine has a bore and stroke of 73mm x 59mm, and a compression ratio of 11.3:1. The engine is fed by a 36mm Mikuni carburetor, and has a maximum power output of 120 horsepower at 9,500 rpm. Chassis
The RF900R has a steel-tube frame with a single-sided swingarm. The front suspension consists of a 43mm inverted fork with adjustable rebound and compression damping. The rear suspension consists of a monoshock with adjustable preload, rebound, and compression damping. The RF900R has a wheelbase of 58 inches, and a seat height of 32 inches.
Brakes
The RF900R has dual 320mm front brake discs with four-piston calipers, and a single 240mm rear brake disc with a two-piston caliper. The brakes are linked, and have a combined ABS system.

The RF900R has a top speed of 155 mph, and can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 3.5 seconds. The RF900R has a fuel economy of 40 mpg in the city, and 50 mpg on the highway.
