### **1996-1999 Suzuki GSF1200/GSF1200S Bandit**

The Suzuki GSF1200/GSF1200S Bandit is a muscle-style standard motorcycle manufactured by Suzuki from 1995 to 2006. The Bandit was introduced as a naked bike, with a half-faired version, the GSF1200S, being added in 1997. The Bandit was powered by an air/oil-cooled, four-stroke, inline-four engine displacing 1,157 cc. The engine was mated to a five-speed transmission. The Bandit had a steel, twin-spar frame and a 43 mm inverted front fork. The rear suspension consisted of a monoshock with adjustable preload and rebound damping. The Bandit had a 17-inch front wheel and a 17-inch rear wheel. The front brake was a single 310 mm disc with a two-piston caliper. The rear brake was a single 240 mm disc with a single-piston caliper. The Bandit had a wet weight of 460 pounds.
