Norton 750 Commando



The Norton 750 Commando is a British motorcycle that was manufactured by Norton Motorcycles from 1967 to 1977. It was designed by Dr. Stefan Bauer, and was considered to be one of the most advanced motorcycles of its time. The Commando was available in a variety of models, including the 750 Commando, the 750 Commando Combat, the 850 Commando Mark II, the Mark IIA, and the Mark III.

The Commando was powered by a 745 cc parallel-twin engine that produced 58 horsepower. The engine was air-cooled and had a five-speed transmission. The Commando had a top speed of 115 mph and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 5.5 seconds.

The Commando was also known for its handling. The bike had a rigid frame and a telescopic front fork. The rear suspension was provided by a pair of Girling shocks. The Commando had a wheelbase of 57 inches and a ground clearance of 6 inches.

The Commando was a popular motorcycle, and more than 100,000 were produced. The bike was used by both civilians and police officers. The Commando was also raced, and won several championships.
