### Engine

The KTM 450 SX-F, 525 SX-F, and 450 SXS-F are powered by a 449.3cc, single-cylinder, four-stroke engine. The engine is liquid-cooled and has a SOHC design. It produces 55 horsepower at 9,000 rpm and 38 lb-ft of torque at 7,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a five-speed transmission.

### Chassis

The KTM 450 SX-F, 525 SX-F, and 450 SXS-F have a steel frame with an aluminum subframe. The frame is designed to be lightweight and strong. The suspension system consists of a 48mm WP upside-down fork in front and a WP PDS shock absorber in the rear. The front and rear suspension travel is 12.2 inches and 11.8 inches, respectively.

### Brakes

The KTM 450 SX-F, 525 SX-F, and 450 SXS-F have Brembo brakes. The front brakes consist of a single 260mm disc with a four-piston caliper. The rear brake consists of a single 220mm disc with a single-piston caliper.
