Honda CBR900RR Fireblade SC44
The Honda CBR900RR Fireblade SC44 is a motorcycle produced by Honda from 2000 to 2003. It is the sixth generation of the Fireblade series and was preceded by the CBR900RR SC33 and succeeded by the CBR1000RR SC57.
The SC44 Fireblade was powered by a 918 cc (56.0 cu in) liquid-cooled inline-four engine that produced 124.7 hp (93.0 kW) at 11,000 rpm and 73 lb⋅ft (99 N⋅m) of torque at 8,500 rpm. The engine was mated to a six-speed transmission and chain final drive. The SC44 Fireblade had a curb weight of 423 lb (192 kg) and a fuel capacity of 4.8 US gal (18 L).
The SC44 Fireblade was equipped with a 43 mm (1.7 in) inverted fork and a Pro-Link rear suspension. The front brakes were dual 310 mm (12.2 in) discs with four-piston calipers, and the rear brake was a 220 mm (8.7 in) disc with a single-piston caliper. The SC44 Fireblade was also equipped with a digital instrument panel and a slipper clutch.
