GILERA GP800
The Gilera GP800 is a maxi scooter produced by the Italian motorcycle manufacturer Gilera since 2007. It is powered by a 750 cc (46 cu in) 90° V-twin engine and features a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with an automatic centrifugal wet clutch.
The GP800 was developed as a more powerful and touring-oriented version of the Gilera Nexus 500. It has a larger engine with a higher displacement and power output, as well as a more robust chassis and suspension. The GP800 also features a number of amenities that are not found on the Nexus 500, such as a larger windscreen, a more comfortable seat, and a spacious under-seat storage compartment.

The engine is tuned for low-end torque and produces a maximum power output of 56 hp (42 kW) at 7,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 60 N⋅m (44 lb⋅ft) at 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a CVT with an automatic centrifugal wet clutch.
**Chassis and suspension**
The GP800 has a steel tube frame with a wheelbase of 1,575 mm (62.0 in). The suspension consists of a 41 mm (1.6 in) inverted fork with adjustable preload and rebound damping in the front and a single shock absorber with adjustable preload and rebound damping in the rear. The GP800 has a 16-inch (410 mm) front wheel and a 15-inch (380 mm) rear wheel. The brakes consist of a 320 mm (13 in) dual-disc setup in the front and a 270 mm (11 in) single-disc setup in the rear.
**Dimensions and weight**
The GP800 has a length of 2,275 mm (89.6 in), a width of 760 mm (29.9 in), and a height of 1,420 mm (55.9 in). The seat height is 780 mm (30.7 in). The GP800 weighs 256 kg (564 lb) dry and 270 kg (595 lb) wet.
