The Ducati 1000 i.e. is a sport motorcycle produced by Ducati from 2002 to 2005. It is the successor to the Ducati 916 and was replaced by the Ducati 1098 in 2006.

The Ducati 1000 i.e. is powered by a 998 cc (60.9 cu in) fuel-injected L-twin engine. The engine produces 100 hp (75 kW) at 8,500 rpm and 66 lb⋅ft (90 N⋅m) of torque at 7,500 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed transmission.

The Ducati 1000 i.e. has a steel trellis frame, a single-sided swingarm, and a fully adjustable suspension. The bike weighs 408 lb (185 kg) dry.

The Ducati 1000 i.e. was available in two versions: the base model and the S model. The S model had a number of upgrades, including a lighter frame, a higher-performance suspension, and a more powerful engine. The engine in the S model produced 107 hp (80 kW) at 9,500 rpm and 70 lb⋅ft (95 N⋅m) of torque at 8,500 rpm.
