1996-2000 Cagiva Canyon

The Cagiva Canyon is a dual-sport motorcycle that was manufactured by Cagiva from 1996 to 2000. It was powered by a 577 cc (35.2 cu in) single-cylinder engine and had a five-speed transmission. The Canyon was available in two versions: a base model and a Gran Canyon model. The Gran Canyon model featured a number of upgrades, including a longer swingarm, a larger fuel tank, and a more comfortable seat.

Engine

The Cagiva Canyon had dual 270 mm (10.6 in) disc brakes in the front and a single 240 mm (9.4 in) disc brake in the rear. The brakes were actuated by a hydraulic system.

The Cagiva Canyon had a top speed of 105 mph (169 km/h) and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph (0 to 97 km/h) in 4.5 seconds. The Canyon had a fuel economy of 50 mpg (21 km/l).
