1963 AJS 16, 16S, 18, 31, 31CSR INSTRUCTION Manual PDF Download

The AJS 16, 16S, 18, 31, 31CSR were a range of motorcycles produced by Associated Motor Cycles (AMC) from 1963 to 1966. The bikes were powered by a 346 cc (21.1 cu in) single-cylinder engine with a bore and stroke of 70 mm × 90 mm (2.8 in × 3.5 in). The engine was air-cooled and had a compression ratio of 8.5:1. The bikes had a four-speed gearbox and a chain final drive. The AJS 16 was the base model, while the 16S was a more upmarket version with a higher compression ratio and a more powerful engine. The 18 was a trials bike, while the 31 was a scrambler and the 31CSR was a road-racing version of the 31. The AJS 16, 16S, 18, 31, 31CSR were all popular motorcycles in their day. They were well-built and reliable, and they offered good performance for the price. Today, these bikes are still popular with collectors and enthusiasts.
