Seat Leon MK2 is a five-door compact hatchback produced by Spanish automaker SEAT from 2005 to 2012. It is the second generation of the SEAT Leon, and is based on the Volkswagen Group A5 platform, which it shares with the Volkswagen Golf Mk5, Volkswagen Jetta Mk5, Volkswagen Tiguan, Audi A3 Mk2, and Škoda Octavia Mk2.

The Leon MK2 was available with a wide range of petrol and diesel engines, ranging from a 1.2-litre TSI petrol engine to a 2.0-litre TDI diesel engine. The most powerful engine available was the 2.0-litre TSI petrol engine, which produced 265 PS (195 kW; 261 hp) and 350 Nm (258 lb·ft) of torque.

The Leon MK2 was also available with a range of transmission options, including a five-speed manual, a six-speed manual, a six-speed dual-clutch automatic, and a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic. The most popular transmission option was the six-speed manual, which was available with all engine options.

The Leon MK2 received a facelift in 2009, which included revised styling, a new interior, and a new range of engines.
