Ford F-Super Duty Excursion Motorhome Chassis
The Ford F-Super Duty Excursion Motorhome Chassis is a heavy-duty chassis designed specifically for motorhome applications. It is built on the same platform as the Ford F-Super Duty pickup truck, but with a longer wheelbase and a reinforced frame to accommodate the weight of a motorhome body. The Excursion Motorhome Chassis is available in two configurations: a single-rear-wheel (SRW) model with a 14,500-pound GVWR and a dual-rear-wheel (DRW) model with a 16,000-pound GVWR.
The Excursion Motorhome Chassis is powered by a variety of gasoline and diesel engines, including the 6.8-liter V10, the 7.3-liter V8 Power Stroke, and the 6.4-liter V8 Power Stroke. The SRW model is available with a choice of two-wheel drive or four-wheel drive, while the DRW model is available with four-wheel drive only.
