Ferrari Testarossa 1984-1996

The Ferrari Testarossa is a mid-engined sports car produced by Ferrari from 1984 to 1996. It succeeded the Ferrari 512 BBi, and was the last Ferrari to use the flat-12 engine. The Testarossa was designed by Pininfarina, and was one of the most iconic cars of the 1980s. The Testarossa was powered by a 4.9-liter flat-12 engine, which produced 380 horsepower and 354 lb-ft of torque. The engine was mounted longitudinally in the rear of the car, and was mated to a five-speed manual transmission. The Testarossa had a top speed of 180 mph, and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds. The Testarossa was a very successful car for Ferrari, and was produced in a total of 7,177 units. It was replaced by the Ferrari 550 Maranello in 1996.
