## Ferrari 456 GT

The Ferrari 456 GT is a front-engined, rear-wheel-drive grand tourer produced by Italian automobile manufacturer Ferrari from 1992 to 2003. It was designed by Pininfarina and replaced the 412. The 456 GT was powered by a 5.5-litre V12 engine, which produced a maximum power output of 442 PS (325 kW; 436 hp) at 6,250 rpm and a maximum torque of 550 N⋅m (406 lb⋅ft) at 4,500 rpm. The engine was mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. The 456 GT could accelerate from 0–100 km/h (0–62 mph) in 4.9 seconds and had a top speed of 302 km/h (188 mph).

The 456 GT was available in both coupé and convertible body styles. The coupé was a 2+2 seater, while the convertible was a 2-seater. The coupé was 4,608 mm (181.4 in) long, 1,922 mm (75.7 in) wide, and 1,314 mm (51.7 in) high. The convertible was 4,608 mm (181.4 in) long, 1,922 mm (75.7 in) wide, and 1,324 mm (52.1 in) high. Both the coupé and the convertible had a wheelbase of 2,600 mm (102.4 in).

The 456 GT was a critical and commercial success. It was praised for its performance, handling, and styling. The 456 GT was replaced by the 550 Maranello in 1996.
