New Holland is a world leader in the design and manufacture of a full line of agricultural tractors and construction equipment, like wheel loader, excavator, skid steer loader, backhoe digger, grader, dump truck hauler, mini compact excavator, and more. New Holland started with one corn mill in the state of Pennsylvania, first built in 1895. The company then expanded into farm implements and later found success with automatic hay balers. In 1990 Ford sold a majority interest in its farm machinery operations to a foreign company called FIAT, with the agreement that the Ford name be dropped in ten years.
