The Citroën Xantia is a large family car manufactured and marketed by Citroën from 1993 to 2001. The Xantia was the successor to the Citroën BX and was available in saloon, estate, and hatchback body styles. It was the last Citroën model to be designed under the leadership of chief stylist Marcello Gandini.
The Xantia was notable for its advanced hydropneumatic suspension, which provided a smooth and comfortable ride. The suspension system also allowed the car to be raised or lowered to improve ground clearance.
