### Kawasaki GPZ 400-550 (1983-1985)

The Kawasaki GPZ 400-550 is a motorcycle manufactured by Kawasaki from 1983 to 1985. It was the successor to the Kawasaki GPz305 and was one of the first motorcycles to feature a liquid-cooled engine. The GPZ 400-550 was available in two versions: a standard model with a four-stroke, inline-four engine and a turbocharged model with a two-stroke, inline-four engine.

The standard model of the GPZ 400-550 had a displacement of 398 cc and produced 45 horsepower at 9,500 rpm. It had a top speed of 115 mph and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 6.3 seconds. The turbocharged model of the GPZ 400-550 had a displacement of 499 cc and produced 74 horsepower at 9,500 rpm. It had a top speed of 130 mph and could accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in 4.9 seconds.

Both versions of the GPZ 400-550 were equipped with a six-speed transmission and a shaft drive. They also had a dual-disc front brake and a single-disc rear brake. The GPZ 400-550 was a popular motorcycle in its day and was praised for its performance, handling, and fuel economy.
