### Silver Cloud I (1955-1959)
Unveiled at the 1955 Earls Court Motor Show, the Silver Cloud I marked a departure from Rolls-Royce's traditional styling. Its sleek lines, penned by J.P. Blatchley, imparted a sense of effortless elegance.
Underneath the bonnet, a 4.9-liter straight-six engine provided ample power, delivering 178 brake horsepower and enabling a top speed of 100 mph. The engine's smoothness and low noise levels further enhanced the car's luxurious ambiance.
### Silver Cloud II (1959-1962)
Subtle refinements marked the Silver Cloud II from its predecessor. The grille was restyled, and the engine received increased displacement to 6.2 liters, boosting power to 200 brake horsepower.
The Silver Cloud II introduced the option of a power-operated roof, further enhancing the car's convenience. It also gained a larger fuel tank, increasing its cruising range.
### Silver Cloud III (1963-1966)
The final iteration of the Silver Cloud lineage, the Silver Cloud III, received more significant upgrades. The exterior underwent a comprehensive redesign, featuring a bolder grille, redesigned bumpers, and a new roofline.
Inside, the Silver Cloud III boasted a revised dashboard and improved ergonomics. The engine was further enlarged to 6.75 liters, delivering 225 brake horsepower.
### Phantom V (1959-1968)
As the flagship of the Rolls-Royce lineup, the Phantom V was the epitome of luxury. Handcrafted at the company's Crewe factory, each Phantom V was a unique work of art.

### Bentley Continental S, S1, S2, S3 (1955-1965)

The Continental S featured a modified version of the Silver Cloud's 4.9-liter engine, tuned for increased power. The S1 received a 6.2-liter engine, while the S2 and S3 benefited from a 6.75-liter powerplant.

This Workshop Manual has been compiled in an endeavor to assists service personnel responsible for maintenance and overhaul, in properly maintaining the high standard of engineering achieved in the production of Rolls-Royce and Bentley motor cars.
The book is copiously illustrated with photographs and orthographic reproductions which are suitably annotated in order to provide quick reference with minimum searching.
Although all information contained in the Manual was correct when going to print, modifications which may subsequently develop will be kept up to date by means of Service Bulletins.
Information given in the latest Bulletin will supersede that given in the Section of the Manual to which it refers, until such times as the Manual is re-issued with the necessary amendments.
Instructions for the maintenance and overhaul of the S2 engine and the Refrigeration Systems fitted to the Rolls-Royce and Bentley cars are contained in individual volumes. Special Workshop Tools referred to in these publications and the Workshop Manual are listed and illustrated in a further publication.
