## Citroen CX 1975-1987

The Citroen CX is a large, front-engine, front-wheel-drive executive car that was produced by the French automaker Citroen from 1974 to 1991. It was designed by Robert Opron and was based on the chassis of the Citroen DS. The CX was available in both saloon and estate body styles, and was powered by a variety of four-cylinder and six-cylinder petrol and diesel engines.

The CX was a technologically advanced car for its time, and featured a number of innovative features, including:

* **Hydropneumatic suspension:** The CX's suspension system used a combination of hydraulic fluid and nitrogen gas to provide a smooth and comfortable ride. The system also allowed the car's ride height to be adjusted, which was useful for driving on rough roads or when carrying heavy loads.
