The Citroen AX is a supermini car produced by the French automaker Citroen from 1986 to 1998. It was designed by Marcello Gandini and was based on the Peugeot 104. The AX was available in three-door hatchback, five-door hatchback, and four-door sedan body styles.

The AX was powered by a variety of petrol and diesel engines. The petrol engines ranged in size from 1.0 to 1.6 liters, while the diesel engines ranged in size from 1.4 to 1.7 liters. The AX was also available with a choice of manual or automatic transmissions.

The AX was a popular car in Europe, and it was also exported to other markets around the world. It was praised for its handling, fuel efficiency, and affordability. However, the AX was also criticized for its cramped interior and lack of features.
