## Cadillac SRX (2004-2009)

The Cadillac SRX is a mid-size luxury crossover SUV that was produced by Cadillac from 2004 to 2009. It was the first crossover SUV produced by Cadillac and was based on the GMT360 platform shared with the Chevrolet TrailBlazer, GMC Envoy, Buick Rainier, and Saab 9-7X.

The SRX was designed to compete with other mid-size luxury crossover SUVs such as the BMW X5, Mercedes-Benz ML-Class, and Lexus RX. It was available in both front-wheel drive and all-wheel drive configurations.

The SRX was powered by a variety of engines, including a 3.6-liter V6, a 4.6-liter V8, and a 2.8-liter turbocharged V6. The 3.6-liter V6 was the most popular engine, and it produced 255 horsepower and 252 lb-ft of torque. The 4.6-liter V8 produced 320 horsepower and 315 lb-ft of torque, while the 2.8-liter turbocharged V6 produced 250 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque.

The SRX was available in three trim levels: Base, Luxury, and Performance. The Base trim level came standard with features such as 17-inch alloy wheels, a six-speaker sound system, and a power driver's seat. The Luxury trim level added features such as 18-inch alloy wheels, a Bose premium audio system, and leather seats. The Performance trim level added features such as 19-inch alloy wheels, a sport-tuned suspension, and Brembo brakes.

The SRX was a popular choice for families and those who wanted a luxurious and versatile vehicle. It was praised for its spacious interior, comfortable ride, and powerful engines. However, it was criticized for its poor fuel economy and lack of off-road capability.

The SRX was discontinued after the 2009 model year and was replaced by the Cadillac SRX (2010-2016).
