The 1996 Buick Park Avenue is a full-size luxury sedan that was produced by Buick from 1991 to 1996. It was the first Buick to be built on the GM G platform, which was also used by the Cadillac DeVille and Oldsmobile 98. The Park Avenue was available in two trim levels: base and Ultra.

The base Park Avenue came standard with a 3.8-liter V6 engine that produced 170 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque. The Ultra model came standard with a 3.8-liter supercharged V6 engine that produced 240 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. Both engines were mated to a four-speed automatic transmission.

The Park Avenue was a well-equipped car, even in its base trim level. Standard features included leather seats, power windows, power locks, and air conditioning. The Ultra model added features such as a sunroof, heated seats, and a Bose sound system.

The Park Avenue was a popular car, and it was praised for its comfort, luxury, and performance. It was also a safe car, and it earned a five-star safety rating from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
