2003 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL

The 2003 GMC Yukon and Yukon XL are full-size SUVs that offer a spacious interior, powerful engine options, and a variety of features. The Yukon is available in two trim levels: SLE and SLT. The Yukon XL is available in three trim levels: SLE, SLT, and Denali.

Exterior

Performance

The Yukon and Yukon XL are powered by a variety of engine options. The SLE trim level comes standard with a 4.8-liter V8 engine that produces 285 horsepower and 325 lb-ft of torque. The SLT trim level comes standard with a 5.3-liter V8 engine that produces 320 horsepower and 340 lb-ft of torque. The Denali trim level comes standard with a 6.0-liter V8 engine that produces 345 horsepower and 380 lb-ft of torque.

The Yukon and Yukon XL are available with either rear-wheel drive or four-wheel drive. The rear-wheel drive models come standard with a four-speed automatic transmission, while the four-wheel drive models come standard with a five-speed automatic transmission.

Safety

The Yukon and Yukon XL come standard with a variety of safety features, including airbags, anti-lock brakes, and traction control. The SLT trim level adds side curtain airbags and a stability control system. The Denali trim level adds a lane departure warning system and a forward collision warning system.
